About The Artwork
In this luminous diptych, Ram Bali Prajapati transforms the ancient symbol of the flowering tree into a cascading universe of light and colour. Thousands of paint drops — rose, saffron, violet, jade — rain across a warm gilded ground, conjuring the transient extravagance of blossoms in full bloom.
The two panels do not merely mirror one another; they breathe together. Dark, calligraphic branches arc through each canvas like brushstrokes of ink on gold leaf, anchoring the exuberant scatter of colour and lending the composition its quiet authority. Where one side surges with density, the other opens into breath — a dialogue between abundance and stillness that feels unmistakably alive.
A meditation on impermanence rendered in the most permanent of pigments — fleeting beauty made bold, eternal.
Prajapati works in the tradition of gestural abstraction yet draws deeply from South Asian decorative sensibility — the richness of festival colour, the opulence of manuscript gilding, the devotional intensity of flower offerings. His marks carry both spontaneity and intention, as though each drop of paint has been both flung and placed.
The golden field that saturates both panels recalls the luminous grounds of Klimt or the radiant skies of ancient Indian miniature painting. Yet the scattered profusion of colour is entirely the artist's own vocabulary — exuberant, celebratory, and suffused with a tenderness for the ephemeral world.
The work is available as a complete diptych and is presented in its original two-panel format. It invites installation across generous wall space, where the full orchestration of its colour field may be appreciated in its sweep and scale.

After earning a doctorate in painting, his focus shifted to sculpting with semi-precious stones, including Jasper, Labradorite, and Amethyst. Over the past two years, they have collected over 200 mineral stones and developed innovative carving techniques. Their work now includes large-scale sculptures and installations that combine semi-precious stones, wood, and bronze, celebrating the natural beauty and vibrant colors of these materials.
