Zig Zag Love Marks
Original Oil Painting on Canvas
Size: 27.5 x 19.5 inches
This original painting is inspired by my study of Sri Sri Vilaap Kusumaanjali with my shiksha guru, and it emerges from the intimate devotional world revealed by Raghunath Das Gosvami. In this sacred pastime, Krishna is painting aalta on Radharani’s foot, and in the overwhelming sweetness of her presence and beauty, the delicate lines become zig zag—marking not only the movement of his hand, but the trembling intensity of divine love itself.
The work reflects a moment of tender proximity, where beauty, devotion, and ecstatic absorption meet. Raghunath Das Gosvami, who is Tulasi or Rati Manjari in nitya lila, witnesses this divine scene, allowing the painting to carry both intimacy and spiritual depth. Zig Zag Love Marks is a celebration of sacred love, poetic vision, and the mystery of Krishna’s absorbed devotion to Radharani.
This is an original one-of-a-kind oil painting created for collectors who are drawn to devotional art rooted in timeless bhakti tradition and layered spiritual storytelling.
About The Artist
My work is a meditation on the ecstatic pain of spiritual separation, the richness of cultural heritage, and the transformative power of love. I believe that art can be both a personal sanctuary and a catalyst for dialogue—bridging worlds, generations, and hearts. In my practice, separation from the divine is not simply sorrowful, but a profound, transformative ecstasy.
