PRADIP was born in Dhanbad state of Jharkhand, India. He is a commerce graduate from Ranchi University and holds a diploma in fine art from British Institute, Mumbai. Pradip is a gifted artist and currently well-known face in Indian Contemporary art world. Since 1995 who has over 70 exhibitions of significant venues.

PRADIP SARKAR, An eminent artist of International repute whose geometric abstraction master pieces adorn many a corporate houses in India and abroad and whose work are to be seen in collection of innumerable prestigious galleries like Lalit Kala Akademi.

Pradip's palette is warm inviting and vilifying, his brush strokes speak of serenity, soothing hues and a characteristic vibrancy that symbolizes a frenetic pace and multitude of life's elements. While working on the theme of present scenario his focuses on spiritual and cultural aspects of society. His work typically also reflect his philosophy of life, his learning and his leanings towards music and harmony and his observation become the subjects of his canvases, as he plays with around geometric boxed forms in a layered application.

Pradip says Art is the expression of his own life story, and that he will allow him to share and create with others what 'he have learned through his experience and observations'. For him art is divine and he tried to express this philosophy in his canvases, his love for music and harmony shows itself in his works.

He belive music is an agreeable harmony for the honour of God and permissible delights of the soul. Mostly his work are figurative abstraction and saturated with many shades, illumination palette within intricate geometric boxed and paper curving form. His works are at collections in Germany, USA, Dubai and India. Also paintings in collection at many corporates and innumerable prestigious centers like Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, India. IIT, ISM, Dhanbad, India. Pradip presently lives and works in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

Meanwhile he has been bestowed with many prizes and titles of honour. In art he gave a new dimension to frenetic pace and multitudes of life's element with geometric boxed and paper curving form. He try to exhibit an imagery blended with vedic meditation and precept of self control; connecting the individual soul with the UNIVERSAL spirit.

He firmly believe that a human being is the most unique creation in the Universe. The spiritual domain surrounding the multitude of mankind is indeed his source of inspiration. Most importantly it is his unwavering conviction that every individual is imbued with extensive diversity and collectively their restive strive attitude appeals to him greatly. At this juncture all those voices, emotions, joys and sorrows are the driving force for him and provide him a prolong to his work.

The series of his recent paintings titled 'DIVINE TUNES' is a saga of urge whereby the depicted deeds inspire others. Love, affection, innocence, bonding, festivity etc; are at the root of his sonata. All those have helped create the desired ambiance for his themes to the best of the required expression and effect. Finally Art in itself should be its final message.
