Karnataka born 1974 artist Ganesh P Doddamani, an Indian abstract painter showed interest in drawing at an early age, focusing mainly on the figurative form and also on the heritage of India. He later attended art classes while experimenting with colours during that period of time. Doddamani has completed his BFA with honours from the MMK College of Art, Gulbarga and an MFA from the prestigious Kala Bhavana- Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan. Over the years he has drifted towards abstraction and used a technique to enhance the bright and solid colours on the canvas.Ganesh Doddamani has an aptitude for creating abstract landscapes, inspired by the palette that Nature has to offer. Doddamani has exhibited in major cities of India and in important art centres too. His repertoire includes awards that reiterate his excellence as an abstract artist, whose presence has grown in the art fraternity. His works have also been included in art auctions by Chirstel House and Entrepreneurs Organization Bengaluru. Currently lives and works in Bangalore City.
