Yes. Many of our figurative artists work from photographic reference for portrait and

figure commissions. Share your preferred reference images and we will advise on what

is achievable and at what scale.

Oil is the traditional medium and remains the most prevalent on Zigguratss. Acrylic,

charcoal-based mixed media, and watercolour figurative works are also available and

noted in each listing.

Some are. Portrait commissions and documented life studies may name the subject.

Others are anonymised figure works. The listing will specify whether the subject is

identified.

Large figurative works require appropriate hanging hardware rated for the frame weight.

Use two fixing points for stability and hang at eye level, approximately 145-150cm to the

centre of the work.
