I'm a self-taught artist, born and brought up in Mumbai, India.
I began painting since finding it was the only thing that brought a ?calming effect to mind.
I didn't think about painting seriously until seeing some ?traditional painting works which strongly influenced me and my ?painting style. Travelling experiences also have changed my life ?and painting techniques. It gives me enthusiasm to focus my ?unrestricted energies in simplifying my paintings in a bold, fresh ?way.
I take inspiration for my work from many things, culture, ?tradition, religion, mythology, nature, movies, books, travelling ?and studying more traditional contemporary artists.
I paint with acrylics paint on canvas. I don't have the vocabulary ?to put into words what i want you to feel, see, sense when you ?see a painting of mine so i try to let my paintings do the talking ?for me and hope you enjoy them as much as I did painting them.
