About The Artwork
‘Japapusha’ means Hibiscus flower is considered as scared flower in many cultures and is used in religious ceremonies as an offering to the deities. In Hindusim, it is believed that offering hibiscus to Lord Ganesha can remove obstacles and bring good fortune. The red hibiscus is particularly significant, as it associates with Goddess Kali, who represents power, transformation and change.
Here, hibiscus flower represents Lord Ganesha, blue triangle represents Lord Shiva and red triangle represents Maa Parvati. Together they form a family – ‘KUTUMB’.
