Painting

I have completed my graduation in Bachelor’s of visual arts with Painting as my specialisation.

I have been painting since my childhood and during my college years I have developed a unique style of painting to which I have given name “creative composition”. Storytelling through art is my main focus in my art practice and hence I have developed this art style “creative composition”

In my perception, there exists an entire universe beyond our naked eye's grasp—an expanse both boundless and enigmatic, pulsating with the power to evoke profound emotion. I believe an artist serves as a conduit, tasked with broadening your horizons, enabling you to envision and appreciate the oft-unseen marvels that inhabit our world.

From my earliest days, visual imagery has held a captivating sway over me. As a child, I eagerly emulated the enchanting scenes that danced before my eyes. Today, I explore a diverse array of mediums and subjects, from the tapestries of mythological tales to the ethereal landscapes of dreams.

About the Artwork :

DIVINE REVERIE: EMBRACING CELESTIAL BLISS. - Ganesha.

‘’’Amidst the joyous times of Ganesha festival, observing the devotees praying twice a day with so much joy and enthusiasm, I found myself contemplating a profound notion : What if the divine Lord Ganesha were to manifest in his magnificent colossal form before his devoted and enthusiastic worshippers?

In my painting, envisioning his arrival from celestial realms, the Lord sits upon a natural throne crafted from grass, enveloping by clusters of tree bushes. He brings with him a celestial expanse, possessing his own sky and the universe, accompanied by beloved celestial beings. A peacock gracefully peeks from behind, a small sparrow finds solace on nearby bushes, one mouse sits on his lap, while another peacefully slumbers, gently suspended in the air.

These celestial companions, depicted in a blissful, carefree state, echo the tranquil assurance that accompanies the presence of the divine. It is an assurance that you too have been taken care of in the presence of the divine just like these celestial beings. These celestial beings float ethereally, they symbolise their celestial nature, different from our earthly realm.

My intention in portraying this scene was to immerse the viewer in the breathtaking beauty of Lord Ganesha’s colossal and unimaginably resplendent form, inviting them to indulge in the beauty of my imagination.

I aimed to evoke the bliss experienced by these celestial animals in the divine presence, instilling in the viewer a profound faith and trust in the omnipresent support of the divine we all have just like these celestial animals.

The shared garland between the colossal Ganesha and the idol worshipped by devotees, shows the interconnectedness of the real and celestial world, between the idol we worship and the colossal Ganesha, between the reality we live in our everyday lives and the universal expanse beyond our understanding which we’re part of.

Through harmonious artistry and complementary colors, this painting serves as a portal, inviting viewers into a state of bliss and urging them to place their faith in the unseen forces of the universe that always watch over us. It seeks to instill trust in the universe and the divine, urging individuals to embrace the goodness and privileges bestowed upon them by this benevolent force in life.”
