Hi, My name is Sambhu Karmakar, I was born in West Bengal(India). I'm having specialized in watercolour paintings, my work mostly focus on traditional aspects, an illustrations and include abstracts. Soothing colours, a simple treatment of the subject is a common style across all of my paintings.
I have participated in Punjab Kala Bhawan Art exhibition in Chandigarh and Ludhiana, AIFA-ASR in Amritsar, IFACS and Gandhi Art Gallery in New Delhi, India Art Festival, State Lalit Kala Academy Lucknow Uttar Pradesh and many more. Internationally I had showcased my work in Hanoi, London and Vietnam. SOLO exhibited in AIFACS Gallery in 2023. Reacently I have exhibited in Pragati Maidan Delhi in January 2024.
