I do believe that humans are the most beautiful creation of God. Their myriad of expressions, their joys, sorrows and
their dreams always fascinate me, intrigue me and fill my mind with wonder and awe. Through my painting, I try to
capture my fascination in my own way. In my painting, I intentionally deviate from the realistic portrayal of figures in
order to capture and bring to life their world of dreams, agonies and ecstasies in my canvas. The characters I create are from the surrealistic DREAM world. They have dreamy closed eyes-transporting the viewers to their own mystic land of DREAM.
I take help of dark colours to capture their pain and bright colour over it to capture their dreams and their hopes of
finding endless possibilities within despair and deep trouble. Through my painting I always try to portray the rhythm of life- brightness in the middle of impregnable dark, joy in the midst of sorrow and hope amidst desperation.
My educational qualifications are something different from my profession and passion, still I love to share
(a). B.Tech in Electronics and communications from Calcutta university
(b). MBA in Marketing from Calcutta university

About the Artwork :
After a long day of work, the flute seller is returning home. The setting sun fills the earth with a soft mystic light. The roads are empty and far away from the cacophony of the city life. The solitary flute seller starts playing some country music in his flute just for himself. He loses himself in the music, no longer caring about worldly duties and responsibilities like selling his flutes. The soft mystic light of the sun, the desolate roads, and the melodious tune of his flute creates an enigmatic environment- where broken dreams are mended and hopes reignited. The flute seller, who is now submerged into his world of music and dreams, blends in seamlessly with this uncanny environment and becomes an integral part of it. In his mind, he is flying away from this materialistic world to a magical world.
